WatchMyCryptos ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Service at watchmycryptos.com.
We are based in Singapore and comply with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). We also take reasonable steps to comply with applicable international privacy laws including GDPR where relevant.

We collect the following personal data when you use the Service:
- Email address — collected at signup, used for account authentication and alert notifications
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. We retain your Stripe Customer ID to manage your subscription.
- Cryptocurrency watchlist — the coins and price alert levels you configure in your dashboard
- Telegram chat ID — only if you choose to connect your Telegram account for alerts
- Usage data — alert firing history, login timestamps, and platform activity logs for service operation and debugging
- IP address — collected temporarily for security and rate limiting purposes
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data solely to provide and improve the Service:
- To authenticate your account and maintain your session
- To send price alert notifications via email and/or Telegram
- To process and manage your subscription payments via Stripe
- To enforce platform limits and prevent abuse
- To send service-related emails such as trial expiry reminders and account notifications
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each has their own privacy policy:
- Supabase (supabase.com) — database and authentication. Your account data is stored on Supabase servers.
- Stripe (stripe.com) — payment processing. Your payment details are handled directly by Stripe.
- Resend (resend.com) — email delivery service used to send alert notifications.
- Telegram — messaging platform used for optional alert notifications.
- CoinGecko (coingecko.com) — cryptocurrency price data provider.
- Vercel (vercel.com) — hosting and infrastructure provider.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers. We implement the following security measures:
- Row Level Security (RLS) — database policies ensure you can only access your own data
- Encrypted connections — all data transmitted over HTTPS
- Environment variable protection — all API keys and secrets are stored securely and never exposed in code
- Authentication tokens — session tokens are used to verify your identity on every request
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:
- All your personal data is permanently deleted from our systems within 24 hours
- This includes your profile, watchlist, alerts, and alert history
- Your Stripe subscription is cancelled immediately
- We may retain anonymised, non-identifiable usage statistics
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — you can view your data in your dashboard at any time
- Correction — you can update your email and notification preferences in Settings
- Deletion — you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings
- Portability — contact us to request a copy of your data

8. Cookies
We use minimal cookies and local storage solely for session management and user preferences (such as dark/light mode). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. The date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last updated.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
